The 9 Stones Artists was formed in 2004. Its members are professional artists all of whom are based in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains in South County Carlow. The group was formed out of the recognition of the need for mutual strength, discussion and inspiration.
The group has previously exhibitied at The Norman Gallery, Rathnure, Co. Wexford in 2005 and again in 2009 (www.normangallery.com).
Members of the 9 Stones Artists include; Cathy Fitzgerald, Martin Lyttle, Annable de Koing, Michelle Byrne, Anthony Lyttle, Remco de Fouw, Rachel Joynt, Jules Michael & Gwen Wilkinson.
